Purchase, payment, availability, pricing and warranty terms for the Ryo Miura Japan online shop.

Scope

These terms govern online purchases of Japanese knives, sharpening stones, accessories and other products available at Ryo Miura Japan.

Purchase process

The buyer selects products, reviews cart, shipping destination, price, taxes and applicable shipping costs before confirming payment through Stripe Checkout.

Prices, taxes and availability

Prices are shown in euros. The shop informs of included taxes where applicable and shipping costs before payment. Availability may vary due to preparation, stock, supplier or logistics incidents.

Payment

Payments are processed through Stripe Checkout. Ryo Miura Japan does not store full card data. The order is confirmed when the payment provider reports successful payment. Available methods are those shown in checkout before confirming the purchase.

Digital gift cards

Gift cards are delivered by email as a single-use digital code. During checkout, the buyer can enter the recipient email and a short message. The code is redeemed in the promotion code field at checkout and does not require physical shipping.

If the order where the code is redeemed is lower than the gift card value, contact support before completing the purchase so the remaining balance can be handled correctly. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash unless applicable law requires it.

Shipping

Shipping times and costs are explained on the shipping information page and confirmed before payment. Some pieces are prepared, selected or verified to order and may require longer timelines when availability, workshop timing, supplier timing or shipment from Japan is involved.

Legal guarantee

Products sold to consumers in Spain include the legal conformity guarantee applicable to consumer goods. The guarantee does not cover normal wear, misuse, impacts, rust caused by lack of drying, dishwasher use or maintenance contrary to care instructions.

For incidents, write to contacto@ryomiurajapan.com or soporte@ryomiurajapan.com with the order number and a clear description. The European ODR platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025, so no link to that platform is included.
